Is Form 5500 public information?
Yes. Form 5500 annual returns for ERISA-covered private retirement plans are public disclosure records published by the U.S. Department of Labor Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA). PlainRetire redistributes fields from those published datasets; it is not a substitute for the official filing.
